abstract Fireworks grayscale experiment…

fireworks experimentAnd now the first ever Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004 created art to be posted on this site… I created this in grayscale to help enhance the contrasts between the shapes… I also used Fireworks because I don;t have a copy of Photoshop on my work computer… plus its good to keep up with the various digital art programs out there as you never know when you’ll need to use something new… I’ve found that learning new programs helps keep me on the ball and helps to re-invigorate my work… I have made it so you can click on the larger version of the work to pop-up a window with an even larger version of the piece… I felt the largest version of image was the best way to view it… The work was created April 4, 2005 in Macromedia Fireworks MX 2004. Click throught to view a larger version of the work.

  • I’ve found fireworks to be a pretty nice program. I’m not a big computer art guy but it seems pretty good and fairly easy to use. What do you think about it?

  • I’ve found fireworks real easy but i really prefer to use photoshop to create web images and i really enjoy the ease of Flash as a drawing tool and design tool, i tend to use flash less for animation and more to create large vector based drawings that i can stretch and contract
