The american Journalism review has a good article on how the news media in the new orleans area is doing… it even has a few paragraphs towards the end on my dad’s book

although probably not for anything to eat… this pic was taken in my parents’ kitchen in lakeview (by the 17th st canal breach) new orleans… the picture was to be his author pic in the upcoming book but the publisher (and the rest of us) would prefer to see his handsome face outside of the mask…

My dad, the guy on the far right, got to go up on stage and get the pulitzer this year. The Times Picayune won two Pulitzer Prizes (as you know) and names of people in the newsroom were drawn out of a hat to see who would get a seat at the dinner during the awards ceremony. Although my dad didn’t get a seat he did get picked in the second drawing as one of the acceptors of the award.

Much better with now one in front I can actually see the stage… Though its radio so I guess I just have a better view of the possible freak show… Hence the term face for radio?
